Are you interested in improving your reading, writing, and English language skills? Join the Prescott Valley Library Adult Literacy Group. This group is open to all adults and is free of charge. Come be a part of a supportive community and take the first step towards improving your literacy skills today.

What to Expect

PVLALG offers free individual tutoring and small group classes. When you join, you will meet with the PVLALG Director, Rita Bosley, to discuss your English language goals. Then you'll be matched with a tutor and provided personalized English instruction. Tutorials are scheduled for times that work best for you and your tutor and held at the following locations: Prescott Library, Prescott Valley Library, Chino Valley Library, and Dewey-Humboldt Library. You can expect weekly hour-long tutoring sessions, but might choose to meet more frequently, depending on you and your tutor's goals and availability. ​
